Belles go 4-1 at USSSA MSP Fall Showcase
The Belles participated in the USSSA MSP Fall Showcase in Overland Park, KS on October 17-19, 2008. This camp and tournament allowed college coaches from all over to see players in action.
The Belles played well in all five games winning 4 of them and making a good run at the fifth one. The pitching combination of Emily Moe and Katelyn Appleby was outstanding, the defense was solid (as usual) and the hitting really came alive this weekend allowing the Belles to put up a good number of runs. The Belles outscored their opponents by a total of 27-12 in all five games combined.
