DeSoto Belles 18U Fastpitch Softball: News:

4th of July COLORADO FIREWORKS Tournament

The Belles had a solid showing in the invitation only Colorado Fireworks Tournament.  The players had ample opportunity to show their skills to college coaches both in the pre-tournament camp as well as during the games.

The team played well in every game.  With most teams, the rosters were made up of players that were already signed and/or committed.  The Belles were by far one of the youngest teams competing in the 18U divison.  The overall win/loss record was not a good indicator of how well the team played.  Several of the teams the Belles played (and nearly beat) went on to the final few teams left in the tournament.  As always, the team was able to spend some good time together off the field as well.
