Hawaiian Hit-Fest Tournament Info
Another fine outing by the Belles in the Hawaiian Hitfest. The girls finished 3rd in pool play by defeating the Bullets and the Lunatics. The single loss to the Lasers in pool play put them into the early bracket game on Sunday, but with the heat and humidity, the early game was a blessing to all. The Belles racked up multiple runs in the first bracket game and very quickly disposed of the Nebraska Echoes. That win set up a rematch in the semi-finals with the Lasers. The Lasers took advantage of early Belles mistakes and went on to win the game. A lot of outstanding plays in the field as well as very strong hitting by the Belles was evident.
