Kansas State Playoffs

5/23/08 Update:  Both Mill Valley and Olathe East bow out  in first round of the state playoffs.  In class 5A, #8 Mill Valley lost to #1 seed Arkansas City 10-2 while #5 Olathe East fell to #4 seed Goddard 3-2 in 6A play.  Both teams fought hard to make the state tournament and a big congratulations goes out to them for their efforts.

Class 5A

 Mill Valley - REGIONAL CHAMPS!!!!   Congratulations to Belles team members Tara Heinrich, Madison Hargrove, Sydnie Gerber and Katelyn Appleby.  MVHS will be one of the final 8 teams in Class 5A to compete for the state championship in Wichita.

Class 6A  

Olathe East - REGIONAL CHAMPS!!!  Congratulations to Belles team member Jordan Ereth.  Olathe East will be defending their state title from 2007 at the Class 6A at the state championship in Topeka.
