The Belles will be participating in the Mid-Missouri College Exposure Camp/Tournament at the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO on 7/17/09 - 7/19/09.  The event features a skills camp and a round robin tournament.  Many college representatives will be on-hand to evaluate players and it is a lot of fun.

Mid-Missouri College Exposure Camp

Eligibility: Any High School softball player who is considering playing at the collegiate level should attend this camp. Graduates in  2010, 2011, 2012, and 2013.

Campers can participate in as many sessions that they want.  This is your chance to showcase your abilities as an athlete to college coaches!

Session 1: Pitchers                     10:00am - 12:30pm                     **Pitcher must bring their own catchers	Session 2: Infielders                    12:30pm - 3:00pm
Session 3: Catchers                     3:00pm - 5:30pm	Session 3: Outfielders                      3:00pm - 5:30pm

Welcome to Beautiful Colorado!!!   Nice outing for the Belles at the prestigous Colorado Fireworks College Exposure camp/tournament.  Highlights include knocking the GA Trouble out of a #1 seed in pool play due to solid offensive and defensive performance as well as a nice "upset" victory over the #1 seed (MO Rattlers) in the first round of bracket play.  The short-handed Belles gave every team they played a run for their money and produced a lot of attention from visiting college coaches.

The Belles are proud to announce that 2 of their players, Emily Moe (Leavenworth HS) and Alex Crowe (Shawnee Mission Northwest HS), have earned Kansas City Scholar Athletes awards.  Also, Tara Heinrich (Mill Valley HS) was nominated for this award.  This prestigious award encompasses nominations of athletes from all Kansas City area high schools.

Emily Moe- Leavenworth:

Emily Moe ranks 17th in class of 308 with a 4.2 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale. Earned eight varsity letters: four in basketball, three in softball, one in volleyball. Basketball team captain. All-conference selection her freshman year, varsity captain for three years in softball. National Honor Society, FCA, FFA treasurer, SADD, Big Brothers Big Sisters.

Alex Crowe- Shawnee Mission Northwest:

Alex Crowe ranks 26th in class of 444 with a grade-point average of 4.56 on a 4.0 scale. Earned six varsity letters: four in tennis and two in softball. In tennis was second team all-league. In softball was team captain and first team all-league. National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Kansas Honor Scholar, science club, Young Life.

     Belles Players Sign with Collegiate Teams
