Wolves Play Tough at ASA
The girls really played well this weekend. Our record wasn't great (1-3), but our play and enthusiasm (great job Captains Dani & Margaret) was excellent. It's exciting to see how well our Wolves are hitting the ball against some pretty good pitching. I saw the Tucson Wicked pitcher in line at the snack bar and congratulated her on pitching a good game. She said "your team is really tough!" You know what? Our team is really tough!

Abby - Home run and Grand Slam, plus good defense and baserunning!
Annie - Pitched really well against Tucson Wicked and was ready to take on EV Pride for the Championship!
Breanna - Played a strong third base and is really starting to hit the ball hard!
Blakeley - Big hits and played hard in the outfield, she even struck out when I told her to!
Christy - Dropped down a couple of great bunts and caught a crucial fly ball in right field!
Chandler - Strong defense at third base and second, and hit the ball well!
Dani - How many awesome plays did she make? And she had some big hits too!
Denali - Made a lot of plays at second base and hit the ball well, plus a big bunt and great baserunning!
Margaret - Continued to hit the ball well with a home run and made a big play at catcher!
Mariah - Like Bre, she is starting to really hit the ball hard. Her home run was drilled!
Shayna - Three great outings on the mound, and provided the Wolves with a great opportunity to win all three!
Sidney - Hit the ball really well, and her speed on the bases is a nightmare for opposing teams!
Willow - Played in pain and hit a big double against 94 EV Pride!

Coach John - Calling pitches and coaching first, played ill on Sunday.
Coach Chris - Always motivating the girls and talking strategy.
Coach Eric - Tracks all of the opposing hitters.

Great Job Wolves!

Coach KJ
