Desert Dragons AZ: Welcome
The Desert Dragons baseball club is a community-based competitive youth baseball organization located in the North Phoenix/Scottsdale area. Established in 2001, the club has given hundreds of players the opportunity to hone their baseball skills against some of the finest competition in the Southwest. We are proud to represent our community and the state of Arizona in a manner that establishes excellence in the field and the sportsmanship that goes with it. Currently, there are teams in all age groups from 9U to 13U.

Starting Tuesday, December 27, the 12U Scottsdale and 13U Black teams will wind up 2011 with the USSSA Winter Nationals tournament.

Congrats to the 12U Scottsdale Dragons, who won the 12U AAA Silver Championship at the Toys for Tots tourney Dec. 10-11!
The 13U Scottsdale Dragons also brought home the hardware with a 13U Major Championship.
Way to go Dragons!!

With all 5 teams participating, it was rare to see a day at the ballpark during the recently concluded Scottsdale AZ Playball League without a Dragons squad in action.
Leading the way was the 12U Scottsdale team, who took home the "A" championship while compiling an impressive 12-3 record!
Next were the 13U Scottsdale Draqons, who finished 9-5 with a 2nd place finish in 13U "A".
Also competing in the 13U Division were the 13U Green team (7-7) and 13U Black (7-5).
Last but not least, the 9U Dragons fought to a 6-8 record against 10U competition!
Well done Dragons!!

August is "back to school" month - along with "back to the diamond" month!

13U Scottsdale Dragons (Jeff Jones)
