 Info & Questions: WEBSITE, WEBSITE, WEBSITE What:  Depere HS LAX Club.  Fastest growing sport in Metro Green Bay area.  DePere LAX Club is an independent not-for-profit club currently comprised of Depere HS Students only.  The Club is a member of the Wisc Lacrosse Federation and the Bay Valley HS Lacrosse Conference.  Lacrosse is a contact game played by ten players: a goalie, three defensemen, three midfielders and three attackmen. The object of the game is to shoot the ball into the opponent’s goal. The team scoring the most goals wins. 

Conference:  Full Varsity & JV Schedule of games vs Bayport, GB Metro, Notre Dame, Southwest, Menasha, Neenah, Appleton, Wausau & Oneida.  Also occasional nonconference games are planned. Conference Tournament & State Playoffs scheduled for end of May.   Locations & Travel: Home games are played at the DePere HS Campus.  Bus trips are planned for non-Green Bay area conference games (Valley, Wausau). Car pooling is arranged for Green Bay area away games. 

Practices:  Weather permitting, daily  practices will begin early March at the DePere HS Field. On occasion we do try to get indoors at DePere HS & other locations, if available.    

Required Equipment & Cost estimates:                                                   Gloves $28-$58 Arm Pads $38  Offense Stick $25-$32  Shoulder Pads   $28  Helmet  $110 (All Black Cascade CLH2 -helmet-preferred) Equipment available at DICKS SPORTS or Online.    

Uniform Costs –                                                                           Approx.  $135 ea (group order)  to get started Includes Game Jersey $60, Game Shorts $50 & Practice Reversible $25  Home white jersey is owned and provided by DP LAX Club.    

2012 Season Player Fees - (Includes $35 US Lax Membership)         Estimated $200 ea for 2012 season

Each player is required to sell at least one $25 ad for the DP LAX game program.
