    Our responsibility to provide a training environment which ensures each swimmer the opportunity to achieve the maximum level of his or her physical capabilities
  AND
    Our responsibility to ensure that the social and emotional growth of each swimmer is nurtured in an enjoyable environment that emphasizes hard work, fair play, sportsmanship, teamwork, and the individual worth of others.

Since 1958, the Delta Skimmers has been serving the Antioch, Pittsburg, Brentwood and Oakley communities.

Available Programs:

14 Years & Under Age Group Regular Team Program

Includes:
   - Swim season  (Mid-April through Mid-August)

   - 3 or 4 days/week practice (practice length depends on age group and ability)

   - Participation in dual meets (Contra Costa Valley Swim Conference)

   - Competition in 6&Under, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12, and 13/14 age groups (A and B divisions available)

    - Participate in  our East County Invitational, League Championship Meet, and County Meet.   

             (The County Championship Meet requires achievement of specific times to qualify)

   - Invitations to enter invitational swim meets (e.g. Rio Vista, Scottsdale)

   - Team T-Shirt

   - End of Year Awards

   - Opportunity to meet new friends   

15-18 Years Age Group Regular Program

Same program as above at a lower rate.  A great way for high school water polo players and swimmers to stay in shape.

Pollywog Program

Introduces young swimmers (4-8), that are not quite ready for the regular team program, to competitive swimming.  Participation in the program  requires the swimmer be water safe and able to swim short distances independently.  Instruction will focus on developing the correct skills and technique in the 4 competitive swim strokes.
Includes:

    - Pollywog season (Late May through End of July)

    - 3 or 4 days/week practice

    - Inclusion in some dual meets and Invites when ready

    - Upgrade to the regular team program (Based on coaches discretion)                

    - Team T-Shirt

    - End of Year Award
