Wilmington Friends School - Girls Lacrosse JV Head Coach
Wilmington Friends School is seeking a Girls Lacrosse JV Head Coach who is motivating and passionate about the sport and development of young players. Position begins Spring 2015. Experience preferred.

Wilmington University - Assistant Women's Lacrosse Coach
Effective immediately: (PT) Assistant Coach – Women’s Lacrosse - Wilmington University, New Castle.

Requirements: A Bachelor’s Degree is required. The incumbent must have sufficient experience in coaching at the college or university level to successfully perform the job. Must have excellent communication, customer service, interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be detail-oriented and able to work with diverse populations. Must be self-directed and able to make decisions independently. Must have the ability to multi-task, work independently, as well as be creative and innovative. Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word/Excel and familiar with other Microsoft Office products. Knowledge of competition and safety rules. Must represent the University in a professional manner at all times, as well as have the ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in any situation.

include (but are not limited to): Teach the sport of women’s lacrosse at the NCAA Division II varsity level. Assist the head coach in recruiting efforts, including evaluating and contacting prospective student-athletes, and completing compliance logs in a timely manner. Assist the head coach in the scouting of future opponents. Provide instruction of team members, including the preparation, planning and conducting of practice sessions. Be knowledgeable of and work within the Wilmington University and NCAA Division II missions. Understand and work with commitment towards creating an environment supportive of Title IX. Teach student-athletes specific tasks, while serving as a mentor to team members. Assist head coach in supervision of team travel. Must take and pass the NCAA Recruiting Exam annually and be knowledgeable of NCAA Compliance rules. Assist in team community service and community engagement projects. Assist in team fundraising activities. Perform other duties which may be assigned by the head Coach and/or the Director of Athletics.

Hours of Employment: Primarily evening hours; however, the incumbent must be flexible enough with their hours and/or schedule to meet the needs of the department and the University. Some weekends and travel may be required.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
