Boys High School & Youth Lacrosse Officials Training
Individuals interested in becoming boys high school or youth lacrosse officials for the Spring 2012 season will be required to attend meetings in Feburary. Meeting are held on Sunday evenings, Feb. 12th & 26th, 4:30-6 PM followed by a general membership meeting from 6:30-8 PM, at Troop 2 in Glasgow, DE on Route 40 just north of the intersection with Route 896 (Map). Please contact one of the individuals listed below for details. On-the-field trainings/scrimmages will be held in early March and dates and locations will be announced when they are known.

Girl's Officials Training and Certification - Dover & Wilmington
Want to give back to the game? Want to improve your knowledge and help your own game? Want to earn some money? This class is for you!
Training for girl's officials will take place in Dover, at the John W. Pitts Center at Schutte Park (map) on Monday, February 6 and Wednesday, February 8 from 6:30-9:30 PM.
The training in Wilmington will be held at Friends School, 101 School Road (map) Thursday, February 9 and Thursday, February 23 from 6:30-9:30 PM.
Sessions will be in the classroom and the gymn. You will need a whistle.
There will also be a third class, to be scheduled, that will actually put your skills to work officiating two local youth teams. Our clinician will be Maddy Russell. She is a college, high school, and youth official.
Training is for all high school and junior referees, as well as returning referees, who will need to learn the new rules for the upcoming season.

Free Coaches Clinic - February 12
The Delaware Interscholastic Boys' Lacrosse Coaches Association is holding its 2nd annual coaching clinic at Tower Hill on Sunday, February 12th from Noon to 3:00 PM. The clinic is free and will be followed by a happy hour at the Brandywine Brewing Company. For more information click here.


Icebreaker Playday for Boys' High School Teams - March 10
This year's Icebreaker playday for boy's high school teams will be Saturday March 10th. There is a $100 registration fee. 20 min running halves, and 3-4 games played depending on turn out. Any team interested please contact Steve Shipe at sshipelax@gmail.com


1st Annual Crosscheck Cancer Playday and Relay for Life - March 10
On March 10th, Glasgow Boy's Lacrosse will host the 1st Annual Crosscheck Cancer Playday and Relay for Life, in the Glasgow HS Stadium. The event will feature a few scrimmages and a Relay for Life benefiting the American Cancer Society.
Glasgow HS, Delcastle Technical HS and the American Cancer Society have organized this all day event, which will take place from 10am-4pm.  All money raised will be donated directly to the American Cancer Society, including each team's $100 entry fee, concession stand funds and any donations from our sponsors.
