Beef and Beer
Friday, November 20
7:00-11:00 PM
at Deerfield Country Club
Parents...we spend our weekends in hockey rinks, isn't time for us to have a chance to party?
Please join us for the Ducks Social Event of the Season. We are very excited this year to have our Beef and Beer event at the beautiful Deerfield banquet room in Newark. $40 includes all food, wine and beer (there will also be a cash bar).
Ask your family friends and co-workers to join us for this fun and well-deserved event!!
We will be setting up tables in the lobby starting the week 10/25 so that you can reserve your tickets. We will be there on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and on weekends before and after games. If you have any questions, please contact your team manager or contact Krissy Sutton at ksutton724@aol.com
Thank you to all those who showed their support this weekend for Breast Cancer Awareness and the fight against Breast Cancer. It was great to see everyone come together including teammates, parents, friends and especially teams from other organizations.
Thanks again to Scotty for donating pink tape and thank you to those who worked the table in the lobby. And let's not forget Joe Koslosky for organizing the event. Your participation is greatly appreciated.

The Squirt AA team is off to a great start this season, by winning the championship game at the Labor Day Shootout tournament at Iceworks on 9/7/09. The team defeated the Little Flyers 6-4 in a nail biter that was back and forth the entire game! Congratulations and keep up the good work!
The Midget 18A team are not afraid to let anyone know that TOUGH GUYS WEAR PINK! The team wore pink in support of a Ducks parent, Karen Woicekowski, who is a breast cancer survivor. In addition, the parents wore pink ribbons, made by Mrs. Tamany, in support of Karen. The team's coach, Joe Koslosky, indicated that this is "what a team is all about!"
Congratulations to Karen for her continued recovery.
The Ducks Bantam A team had a tremendous season, finishing third overall in the DVHL. Entering the playoffs, the Bantam team faced off against two league rivals, beating each to be crowned the DVHL Playoff Champs.
Entering Districts as the third seated team, the Ducks did as well as the first seated DVHL team, by beating the Flyers Youth (the eventual championship team) and narrowly losing to the Bridgewater Bears in an overtime shootout. The boys represented the Ducks organization well, and we’re all very proud of them.

They won the rest of their games against other 16AA and 18AA teams fairly easily, with the exception of the game against our Ducks Midget 16AA1 team where the game remained a 1-1 tie after regulation and a 5 minute overtime.
