Oberholtzer, O'Donald Caught in the Draft, Several other Diamonds Sign On to Play NCAA Baseball
Congratulations to Diamonds alumni Brett Oberholtzer (8th round, Atlanta Braves) and Richard O'Donald (47th round, Seattle Mariners) who were drafted in the 2008 MLB draft. Brett has since signed and is currently playing with the Gulf Coast Braves in short season A ball, while Rich is considering the Mariners' offer vs. a full scholarship from the University of Delaware. The following Diamonds will be playing baseball at the NCAA level in 2009: Richard O' Donald- University of Delaware, Dan Schafferman- George Mason University, Steve Miller- UMBC, Matt Klaczkiewicz- University of Maine, Brandon Crist- Delaware State University, Josh Culler- Seminole C.C., Bill Morton- Salisbury University, Ryan Hall- Salisbury University, Congratulations to all and best wishes for continued success at the next level!
