The tournament will be held Friday, July 3 through Sunday, July 5, 2009.

Strict ASA Rules will be followed. Each team is guaranteed five games. Each team will play four pool play games and will be seeded for single elimination championship play which will begin Sunday morning.

Tournament registration fee is $525.00 per team. The fees will cover umpires, balls, prizes for the winning teams, and a portion will be donated to the McKenzie Travis College Softball Scholarship Fund. This year we are giving out nine scholarships; two for Delaware High School graduates, one for a Delaware resident currently in college playing softball, one for a tournament player, one for a camp participant, and four at large scholarships. Applications will be available on our website by February 1, 2009. Entry fees are non-refundable. The registration deadline for this tournament is April 30th and all teams will be notified of acceptance by May 15th. Once all teams are accepted they will be posted on the website www.delawareinvitational.org. Tournament is limited to 64 quality teams.

We will continually be updating the website with pertinent information regarding the tournament including: directions, brackets, lodging, participating teams, forms required from participating teams, scholarship applications, etc. so please check the site periodically.
