Challenger Little League Baseball
Calling all Special Needs Children
Ages 5-18 (up to 22 years old if still attending school)... The District 7 Little League Challenger Division would like you to join us in a season of fun filled baseball! The Challenger Division is specifically geared for children with mental and/or physical disabilities. Every child is welcomed to play ball regardless of their abilities or limitations. Games, which are coach pitched, are typically played twice a week at the Deer Park Little League Complex (near the corner of Jefferson Ave. & J. Clyde Morris Blvd). Through this structured, non-competitive program, our exceptional players not only receive the therapeutic and socialization benefits of being involved in an athletic program, they walk off the field each game feeling like the winners they are!
Our 2009 Spring Season will run from mid-April to mid-June.*All of our registration dates will be held at the Brittingham Midtown Community Center in Newport News (570 McLawhorne Dr).
