High School: Madison
Ranked 3rd in the State! CIF Champions, All-CIF Player of The Year, 3X All-CIF Team, 2X All-League Player of the Year, 3X All-League Team, 1X H.S. Undefeated Season, CIF categories for: Lowest ERA 0.21 and Most Consecutive Shutouts. SD Breitbard Hall of Fame Award, Orange County Invite Champions, Orange County Invite MVP, 2X Coca Cola MVP and 2X Coca Cola Champions, 2X San Diego Union Player of the Month, Orange Glen Tournament Champions and Orange Glen Tournament MVP.
(1st year San Diego Team was invited to Orange County Invite Tournament in Anaheim Hills, CA. The Top 35 California High Schools invite only to The Tournament of Champions. To name a few players at the tournament:  Lisa Fernandez, Michelle Granger, Terry Carpenter, Heather Compton, Lori Harrigan)

Top California High School Recruit (H.S. Pitchers Ready to Move Up) featured in, "Women's Fastpitch World Magazine." "The Best in the West" by Jim Berklan:  (see Article on Player Profile & Albums Page) Article Reads: Debbie Corbett, Madison High School, San Diego, California.  Corbett was reportedly receiving a lot of attention from Arizona, Arizona State and San Diego State.  Heading into high school spring playoffs, Corbett used her rise, change-up and curve for a 10-1 record.  With 97 strikeouts and only one earned run in 71 innings, that made for a nifty 0.108 ERA.  Corbett also led her team with .408 batting average and six home runs and was named Most Valuable Player of the Canyon Tourney.  The 5-foot-8-inch right-hander also was named MVP of the Orange Glen Easter tourney in San Diego and will play this summer with the San Diego Astros (Other names mentioned:  Michelle Granger, Tiffany Boyd, Terry Carpenter)

Travel Ball:  San Diego Astros was a 5X ASA National Champions Organization. 2X ASA National Champions, ASA National All-American, ASA National Co-MVP, 1X Undefeated ASA National Champions.

Former Professional Instructor for Dan Dixon's, "The Pro Swing". Worked with Professional MLB Players Darryl Strawberry, Roberto Alomar, and former Major and Minor League Players.
Dan Dixon owner of "The Pro Swing" 23rd year Professional MLB Scout, former batting practice pitcher for the San Diego Padres and former player for the Texas Rangers organization.

College: Utah State University, Big West Conference, Division I  
Ranked as High as 5th in the Nation!
2X College World Series Tournament Appearances,  Big West Conference Champions, 2X ALL-Big West Team, Awarded Full Athletic Scholarship, Big West Conference Top Batting Average Leader.  Holds Many Utah State University Individual Season and Career Records for Pitching and Hitting Categories: Top Season ERA .088, Wins, Strikeouts etc. and Top Season Batting avg. .365, Slugging %, HR's etc.


Only Pitcher to Hold #1 Undefeated UCLA At San Jose State University Tournament to less than (6) runs giving up 1 run in the 9th inning international tie-breaker rule, Final Score UCLA 1-Utah State 0 (UCLA CWS Champions 54-2 Final Record: to name a few UCLA players: Lisa Fernandez, DeDe Weiman, Heather Compton).

Wins against NCAA Ranked Top 20: CSU Northridge, Fresno State, UNLV, Long Beach State University, Cal State Fullerton, Utah (pitched 1 hitter), Hawaii, Arizona (2-0 win), Arizona State, Cal Berkley and Oklohama State.  Also, Wins against: SDSU, Oklahoma (pitched 1 hitter, 7-0 win), Oregon, Oregon State (12-0 win), Nebreska, Iowa, Northwestern, UOP, UCSB, New Mexico State (pitched no hitter) and Cal Poly Pamona.

Education:
Received Bachelors of Science Degree (USU) and Associated Arts Degree (SDMCC).
