Walk In Registration Dates:

• Saturday February 11th, 10am - 1pm

Due to the overwhelming number of registrations that we received on February 4th, the BOD of DCLL has decided to offer another final walk-in registration. In case you were not able to register, please stop by on Saturday, February 11th.

 The walk in registrations will be at the Turley Clubhouse located at 14998 Birchdale Ave. Dale City, VA 22193.

2012 Spring Registration Forms are now located in the Handouts Tab on the lefthand side of the page.

Old Equipment:

If you have some old equipment that is still in good shape cluttering up your house & would like to get rid of it you may bring it to either the Player Refresher Clinic or to tryouts. DCLL will put it out in a "yard sale" at tryouts & Opening Day. Items must clean & in good condition, no used socks or hats please. We will accept pants, cleats, gloves, catcher's gear, bats & equipment bags.

Volunteer & Manager/Coach Applications:

The Manager/Coach applications and the Volunteer form are located in the Handout tab on the side of the page. If you are interested in becomming a manger or coach you must fill out both forms no later than February 4th, 2012.  You may bring them to any of the walk-in registrations on the dates & times listed below or you may bring them to the next BOD meeting on the date & time listed below.

Sponsorship Applications:

Interested in becoming a sponsor for DCLL the Sponsorship application form is located in the Handouts tab on the side of the page.  PLEASE RETURN TO DCLL BY FEBRUARY 15, 2012. THANK YOU!

The 2012 spring fees are:  

• T-Ball (Ages 4-6) $100

• Machine Pitch (Ages 6-8) - $100

• AA (Ages 8-10) - $115

• AAA (Ages9-11) - $115

• Majors (Ages 10-12) - $115

• Juniors (Ages 13-14) - $145

• Seniors (Ages 13-16) - $145

• Bigs (Ages 15-18) - $145

• Challengers (Ages 4-21) - $55

The Multi Player Discount is $10.

The Family Maximun Fee is $275.

Included in the fee is a $15 PWCPA charge, a $15 concessions fee & for the Juniors, Seniors & Bigs a $30 umpire fee.

* The PWCPA fee is a mandatory fee charged to DCLL for each player.

The following DCLL Board of Directors vacancies for the 2011-2012 season are still open. Looking to Volunteer with DCLL:

The next BOD meeting in February is Sunday March 4th at 6:00 PM at the Turley Clubhouse and is open to all.

Little League is an all volunteer organization. It takes many dedicated volunteers to make YOUR league a success each year. Anyone interested in joining the DCLL Board of Directors or just volunteering to help out please contact League President Patti Perry at dcllpres@yahoo.com.   

MANAGERS, COACHES, PARENTS, AND KIDS (13-19):

Umpire training will begin Thursday, 1 March 2012 at 6:00pm - 8:30pm.  Training will be every Thursday in March.  All training will be at the Turley Clubhouse.  Yes, that means 5 days of training.  If you have never taken DCLL umpire training, you SHALL attend ALL training classes.  If you are an experienced umpire, then you must let me know which 1 day you can make.

Junior umpires do get paid for their time. $30 for plate; $20 for field. Adults umpires are purely on a voluntary basis and do not get paid.

Age 12 kids wanting to try umpiring, please feel free to join ALL the training classes.  I will give you a try.

COMPOSITE BAT RESTRICTIONS UPDATE:

Please Check the list before purchasing a new bat for this spring. All bats will be checked & composites not on the approved list will not be allowed.

Little League International has imposed restrictions on composite bats for all divisions (T-Ball to Bigs). Click here to read the article on this issue. Since the original announcement on December 30, 2010, an increasing number of composite bats have received waivers from Little League Baseball to be used. Below is a list of bats approved for use by Little League Baseball.
