Report cards come home on Friday, Nov. 20th. Please show your report card to Coach Partain or Coach Pollock! FALL CONDITIONING DATES AND TIMES WILL BE POSTED SOON!

BINGO VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED EVERY MONDAY NIGHT 5:30 TO APPROX. 10.30 PM. THIS IS OUR BIGGEST FUNDRAISER AND WE NEED THREE (3) PLAYERS PER SESSION! PLS CONTACT COACH PARTAIN OR COACH POLLOCK ASAP!
ANNOUNCEMENTS: Hitting Camp will begin on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. Tenative days AND TIMES will be Tues and Thur. @ 7:00 PM. Projected cost will be $50.00 per player. Camp will run through the end of February.
Need bingo workers for every Monday thru December!!!

David is a 5th year player at DCHS with the last three as a varsity starter at second base. David is the lone senior this season and captain of the squad. David is a honor roll student and plans to join the Navy after graduation and become a Navy SEAL. Congratulations on being choosen First Team All Southeastern District at second base!

Split the season between Triple-A Toledo and Detroit, appearing in 25 games during three separate stints with the Tigers. ... Recalled from Toledo by the Tigers on April 11 and did not allow a run in his first eight outings from April 13-May 3, a stretch of eight scoreless innings. ... Retired the only two batters he faced to earn his first Major League win on April 15 vs. Minnesota. ... Sidelined from May 21-June 8 with biceps tendinitis, appearing in one game with Toledo as part of an injury rehab assignment on June 7. He took the loss after allowing one run as he retired two of the four batters he faced.... Tossed a career-high three innings of relief on June 9 vs. Cleveland. ... Optioned to Toledo by the Tigers on June 13 and did not allow a run in his first 10 outings following his return to the Mud Hens from June 15-July 17, tossing 11 2/3 scoreless innings. ... Recalled from Toledo by the Tigers on July 31 and allowed three runs (two earned in 1 2/3 innings of relief that day atCleveland. ... Was optioned back to Toledo following the game. ... Posted an 0.84 ERA and 12 strikeouts over his final nine outings with the Mud Hens from Aug. 7-28. ... Recalled from Toledo by the Tigers on Sept. 2 and posted a 4.05 ERA in 10 outings during September. ... Compiled a 1-0 record and 3.38 ERA in 13 appearances on the road for the Tigers...finished 2-0 with a5.06 ERA in 12 outings at Comerica Park.

Two players per team (JV & Varsity) are needed EVERY Thursday night NOTE: We will resume bingo volunteers in October!.
This is our biggest fund raiser and if a player works five or more nights he will recrive a FREE
practice package in the spring. See coach Partain to sign up!
