2014 West Central Valley Soccer Rocks Tournament - June 14
The 10th Annual WCV Soccer Rocks Tournament will be held June 14th in Stuart, Iowa.  This will be an all day tournament held at the West Central Valley Soccer Complex for U8-U16 coed and girls teams.

2014 Covered Bridge Cup - June 21
The Winterset Soccer Club is pleased to host the 6th Annual Covered Bridge Cup in Winterset, IA.  If you are a returning team, welcome back!  If you are new to the Covered Bridge Cup this year, consider spending the day in Winterset - it is a great time for the kids!

2014 Iowa 3v3 Soccer Challenge - June 28-29

The Iowa 3v3 Soccer Challenge, in partnership with Vision Soccer Academy, is being held June 28-29.  The event is a regional 3v3 soccer tournament that will be held right here in the Des Moines area.  It will take place at the Cownie Soccer Park.  This complex is a beautiful, lighted facility that is easily accessible with ample paved parking, a full service concession stand, and clean restrooms.

The Iowa 3v3 Soccer Challenge has divisions for U8 and up. There are World Cup (Gold) and Olympic (Silver) Divisions in most age groups. Each team is scheduled a minimum of 3 games and most will get 4 games. Each player will receive a t-shirt with tournament logo. Register before June 1st for the Early Bird Registration Rate!

The registration deadline is June 16, 2014 so register online today.  This tournament will pull in teams from all around Iowa and surrounding states.  The overall focus of this 3v3 soccer tournament is to provide a competitive, yet family-friendly, soccer event of the highest quality.  Although field and goal nets are smaller, this is a fast-paced high scoring game.

2014 Iowa Games - July 18-20
This Olympic-style amateur sports festival is one of a kind in our state and ranks in the top-3 in over all participation in the entire country!  54 sports are offered but no sport compares to soccer!  With nearly 200 teams competing annually this truly is an amazing tournament for the whole family.
The Iowa Games will be hosted at the  Ames-area soccer fields (easy driving distance for DCG) July 18 - 20.  The games will include Recreational, Open, and Competition Divisions for U6-U19 teams. 
Iowa Games Youth Soccer offers Recreational (Open) and Competitive divisions. Duration of preliminary games will be 6 minute quarters for U6, 8 minute quarters for U8, 20 minute halves for U9-U10, 25 minute halves for U11-U14, 30 minute halves for U16, and 35-minute halves for U19. Semi-final, consolation and championship games will be the same length as preliminary games.

2014 Drake Bulldog Soccer Academy - Morning Camp - July 29-31

Join coaches and players of the Drake Women's soccer team for three mornings filled with soccer skills, games, and tournaments. Campers will be taught proper technique through small-sided games and contests. All activities will be arranged in a fun, safe, and skill appropriate enviornment. Campers should wear shin guards and sunscreen and bring a ball and water. This clinic is geared for the recreational level soccer player.
