The 2009 All Star teams have been selected and the teams have started practicing. Please feel free to come out and support them at the District Pool Play games from 7/1 - 7/8. Here is the schedule. The results are available on the Iowa District 3 website. The 2nd Annual Crackin' the Bats for Connor will be held on Saturday, August 15th. This event features non-competitive baseball games, carnival games, a silent auction and a concession stand. The registration deadline for the baseball games is July 15th. Monies raised benefit the CJS Memorial Scholarship Fund established in memory of Connor Schnell, a Grimes 2nd grade student, who passed away in November 2007. More information about Connor Schnell and Crackin' the Bats for Connor can be found at www.cjsscholarship.org. Please look for an e-mail in early July with a survey about the strengths and opportunities for the Dallas Center-Grimes Little League. We value your opinion and really want to get your feedback.
