The DC Metro Dragons are in the early stages of preparing for their 2012 campaign. Last season after a three year hiatus the Red Beast's return to the diamond proved to be very successful. Competing in the area's ONLY premiere league , The Blue and Gray, the Dragons finished among the top 3. DC Metro was bumped out of the post season in the semi finals by the Prince William Yankees who went on to the championship. The league crown went to the Arlington Red Sox.
