Dexter Community Aquatic Club Families

Annually, our club hosts the Red, White and Blue Classic. This swim meet at the Dexter Community Pool, governed by USA Swimming, typically includes more than 300 kids (ages 5-18) who attend from all over the state.  The majority of families attending this event are from the Ann Arbor, Dexter, Saline, Jackson, Novi area.

Funds generated from this event are used to keep our membership fees reasonable while still providing a high level of training for our athletes.   We have used proceeds to defray costs of pool rentals, coaching fees, educational opportunities for coaches and new equipment for workouts.  Though most dollars raised are through entry fees and admissions, there are some expenses that we try to off set by seeking community sponsors. 

Each of our sponsors will receive Sponsor Recognition in our meet program as well as advertisement on our scoreboard during the meet. We have several donation options to choose from and those options start at only $25. This is a great way for sponsors to display community spirit and promote their business.  All donations and sponsorships are Tax Deductible, with Tax ID available upon request.

This is where you come in!  DCAC needs everyone to scour their personal and professional contacts to find potential sponsors to help us out.  This is our only major fundraising event that we ask our membership to participate in.  

If every family can find one sponsor for the meet, it will be our most successful meet ever. 

For the first time this year, we will be having a contest for the families that generate the most sponsorship funds.  The top 5 families will earn DCAC prizes as a thank you for their efforts and a special prize to the top family!

Attached are a packet of information that you can give to potential sponsors.  You may print out several copies of this letter and write your own personal note to those sponsors you talk with.   Please submit your collections and materials by November 4, 2009.
