Penticon (Bob's Boys) Softball Team
Penticon is a tough team to beat in the ISA league here. But the Dawgs are gonna get 'em . . .

Zion Tours - Softball Team
ZionTours is another challenging team in the ISA, but hey, we beat them in the Spring of 2002. Let's do it again, boys.

Galil Twisters (aka Shomrat - Softball Team)
The Galil Twisters (formerly Shomrat Cubs) is/are a team from the north, sorta kinda. They've been around for a while, and they play like they don't give up. Sponsored by "Tom's Texas Twisters", headed by Micah Winston. The link includes all sorts of stuff going on in the north, not only with the Galil Twisters.

Beit Shemesh (men's) Softball Team
The Beit Shemesh team is a scrappy team that has been playing in the ISA since your intrepid captain has, 1997, and has developed from an amateur level bunch of guys to a challenging team, that knows how to play real ball. Their sponsor for 2006 is "Shimshon High Tech", so that's their name these days.
Tigers Softball Team
The Tigers is arguably the strongest hitting team in the league. Their bats just cannot be stopped. Except . . . maybe by a certain pitcher whose name we will not mention. But have no fear, my dear, the Tigers will soon be afraid of Dawgs.
Dimona Judeans Softball Team
This team consists of the Black Hebrew congregation, based in Dimona, Israel. They are people who came from inner-city Chicago, and now are dedicated to the Jewish People and the Land of Israel.
And they sure know how to play ball - Halleluyah, Brethren !!
Tel Aviv (men's) Softball Team
This team is back to being "Crazy Richards" for 2006, after being "Magic Homes" for a couple of years. The team is headed by one of the founders of the ISA - Ed Freedman.
Brewers-Cerveceros : a Latin/Israeli Team
This team is new to the ISA for Fall, 2006, and if everything goes well, for the forseeable future. They split off from us Dawggies, and are headed by our venerable Yechezkel Ganz. We wish them well, and we look forward to pummeling them in in upcoming games. But I'll tell ya, Alberto looked better in a Dawggie shirt.

The Rehovot Softball League is a youth league, based in the city of Rehovot, Israel. There are 6 teams, and they play each Friday, from October to June. There is also an All-Star team that competes in national tournaments during Hannukah, Purim, and in the Spring. Several Dawgs were/are Puppies in the RSL, including Albert Sarkovitz, Alon Kaminer, and Yaniv Gohary.
Danny Epstein and Yigal Rozval are RSL coaches.
Former Dawg Jack Kurtz founded, and heads the RSL.
Raanana Sunday Softball Duffer League
A weekly pick-up game in Raanana. It sorta kinda functions as a minor league farm system for the ISA.
CI Slammers Softball Team
This is a modified fastpitch team that plays in the "Jerusalem League". This league is modified fastpitch (not windmill).

Pitching on Mars !?!
A really cool article about pitching on Mars. If you like space, then this is great. What *I* liked about it was that I FINALLY saw an explanation of why the ball curves in the direction it curves. If you are familiar with fluid dynamics (esp. Bernoulli's equation), then you will understand why I always thought that the ball should move AWAY from the direction it spins. But this is not ball actually moves. Quite the opposite. See this article for a simple, clear explanation.

All sorts of Jewish sites.
Kalamazoo Shock Travel Softball
A girls, 12U softball team. Don't know too much about them, they just asked me to add their link, and I thought "What the hey?"
