Sign ups for new and returning players will be August 6 from 10-1 p.m. at the concession stand at the Davenport East PONY field. The season fee is $150.00.
First tryout will take place on Aug. 7 starting at 3 p.m. Second tryout will take place on Aug. 14 at 3 p.m.

Congratulations to the Davenport East 13 year old All-Star team! After winning regional play, they headed to Indiana and captured the North Zone Title and now will be headed to Fullerton, CA to play for the World Champion Title!

DEast to Host 14-U Tourney!
Davenport East will be hosting a July 15-17. The tournament kicks off on Friday with Davenport East B-team taking on West at 7 p.m. The winner of that game plays Davenport East A-team at 3 p.m. on Saturday. The championship game will be held on Sunday at 1 p.m.

Congratulations to Mountain Dew for claiming the first place title in the regular season.
Dew finished the season with an impressive 28-4 record.

Congratulations to Light's Quality Built for their 1st place victory to win the PONY League Tournament!
Lights defeated the number 1 seeded Mountain Dew 13-1 in Tuesday night's championship game Way to go!
What a great season it has been for all of the players, coaches, umps and volunteers! Best of luck to all of our PONY League All- Stars as you continue on in the post season.

RULESFOR PONY GAMES
Strict two hour time limit for all games with no new inningstarting after two hours. Once aninning is started, it will be finished. Game will be considered final even if seven innings have not beencompleted. Extra innings areallowed to break ties, as long as they are within the two hour time limit, ornot interfering with another game. If the game is still tied after time limit, the game will be continuedfrom its latest point. It will bescheduled at the next available time slot.
The home team is listed first on the schedule.
The home team before the first game of the day is in chargeof chalking the field. Please lockthe blue storage bin after use. Both teams are in charge of making sure garbage is picked up and trash cansemptied after the last game of the day. Pick up the dugouts after each game. BOTH TEAMS CAN PITCH IN FOR THIS DUTY! DO NOT LEAVE GARBAGE FOR THE TEAMS THENEXT DAY TO PICK UP. Make sure theblue shed is locked, lights are off, and the concession stand is locked afterthe final game of the day. Bothteams can also be responsible for this.
Players may be re-entered once, this includesnon-starters. Each player mustplay two innings in the field and have at least one at bat per game. Extra hitter can be used. If the a player has not played twoinnings and one at bat, this player will be subject to the rules agreed uponbefore the season.
No metal spikes during regular season or leagueplayoffs. Courtesy runner for thecatcher is optional. If used, mustnot be a player currently in the game or if only nine players, the last playerto make an out.
Pitching rules are as PONY sets. 10 innings per week per pitcher, this includes high schoolgames or any other teams a player is on. If a pitcher throws 4 or more innings, he must rest 40 hours beforepitching again. No more than seveninnings a day. One pitchconstitutes an inning pitched. Week calendar runs Monday through Sunday midnight. Please refer to the PONY rulebook forclarification of rules.
There will be no throwing of equipment or swearing duringthe game. If a player, coach, ormanager is ejected from the game for any reason, he will automatically serve aone game suspension to be served the next game. Appeals can be made to the board. However, the penalty is likely to be enforced, and thesuspension will rarely be overturned.
When a game is rained out, it will be scheduled at the nextavailable time slot per the league president, no questions asked. If you cannot play then, the game willbe a forfeit.
If nine players are not available to play at game time, itwill be considered a forfeit and not rescheduled under any circumstances evenif both coaches agree. There willbe no rescheduled games period unless it affects the entire league.
Never assume a game has been canceled. Umpires will decide if the field isplayable if coaches cannot agree. Please contact umpires if the game is cancelled. Please let George Blough know as well.
Help Keep our Park Clean! Teams are responsible for picking up trash from their side of the diamond after each game. If the parks department feels there is excessive trash around our diamond they will fine the league $100.00 each time.
