Darien Blue Wave Hockey: Welcome

       The Darien High School Hockey Team has a long-standing reputation for excellent performance on the ice.  The team typically finishes the season as one of the top four teams in the Fairfield County Interscholastic Athletic Conference (FCIAC).  Similarly, the Blue Wave usually achieves a top 16 ranking in the Connecticut Interscholastic Athletic Conference (CIAC) to earn a berth in the Division One tournament.  The Blue Wave is led by new Head Coach Chris Gerwig who has been coaching in the FCIAC for over 11 years.  The 2011-12 team will be captained by Nick Bruno, Hank Glick and Max Rothston.
