Louis M. (Macky) Beto, DMD, is a native of Danville, Kentucky, graduating from Danville High School, in 1972. He obtained his B.A. in Chemistry, graduating cum laude, from Wake Forest University in 1976. Dr. Beto graduated with honors from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1981. His residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery was performed at the Temple University Hospital, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, finishing in 1984. He then started in private practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Danville, Kentucky in July of 1984, and has practiced there since then. Amy Bogardus, DMD, was born in Pikeville, Kentucky, and has lived in Kentucky most of her life. After graduating from Jessamine County High School in 1986, she earned a B.A. in psychology from Transylvania University in Lexington, Kentucky in 1990 and her D.M.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1994. Dr. Bogardus underwent specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery from 1994 to 1998 at the University of Oklahoma in Oklahoma City, before moving back to Kentucky to practice oral surgery in Danville.
