Danville Youth Football
Danville Youth Football (DYF) is a nonprofit, volunteer youth football and cheer organization serving the children of the Danville Independent School District. Students of the Danville Schools and private school students residing within the Danville School District are eligible to participate in football from age 6-12 and in cheerleading from age 5-12.
DYF operates through the Danville Independent School System and the Danville High School Athletic Department. Accordingly, DYF is committed to providing a youth football program commensurate to the tradition of our high school counterpart, the Danville Admirals.
We hope that your family will join us in our inaugural season as we endeavor to teach football and cheerleading with an emphasis on enjoyment, sportsmanship and sound character.
The youth football programs of Danville, Garrard County and Mercer County have joined together to form the Central Kentucky Youth Football Conference. The CKYFC rules were developed in consort between all three programs with emphasis placed on teaching football fundamentals. The CKYFC is administered by representatives of each youth league which include high school head coaches, middle school head coaches and youth league administrators.
Not only will the CKYFC improve youth football, but it will also foster camaraderie within the football communities as we work together and compete together towards the common goal of making each youth league the best that it can be.
