The winning tradition of the Danville Admirals was established early. The Football Admirals have had many glory years, winning 10 State Championships in three classifications. The 1954 team was the Overall State Champ, prior to classification. The Admirals had a 23 game winning streak beginning September 25, 1953 which finally ended on October 21, 1955 and a 42 game winning streak 1991-1993.
