Dallas Starlings VBC is part of a national volleyball program; Starlings Volleyball, USA.  We are a 501-c3 non-profit organization.  We have created an affordable opportunity for young ladies to play club volleyball.  We are an junior volleyball program for girls that cannot pay the rising costs of other clubs. We create a positive and healthy environment for young ladies wishing to better themselves in the sport of volleyball. We assist in all aspects of our players lives by promoting strong academics through mentoring programs for college entrance, nutritional awareness, and career guidance. Our club survives through donations and player fundraising. Anyone interested in donating to our club, please click on the link to the left 'DONATE NOW'. All donations are tax-deductible. Steps to be a Dallas Starlings

DID YOU MAKE THE TEAM: *If you received an Acceptance form or a phone call, then we would like to see you Sunday, Nov. 22nd at 2pm with your parent.  This acceptance form means we want you to play for us this season. 

*SIGN UP TO BE A MEMBER OF THE NORTH TX REGION/USAV: www.ntrvolleyball.org 

*OFFER AND ACCEPTANCE: Signed Tryout Offer and Acceptance Form with Initial Installment Fee of $150

*WHEN IS IT DUE? Tryouts… Or at the Mandatory Parent Meeting on Sunday, November 22nd at 3:00pm at Arlington Courts.  Bring a chair for meeting. 

*FIRST PRACTICE: November 22nd at Arlington Courts at 2pm-4pm

*FIRST PARENT MEETING: November 22nd at Arlington Courts at 3pm (we decided to change the time to have you out at the same time as your daughter) 

*PRACTICES: Held on Sundays at Arlington Courts (either 2-4pm or 4-6pm)

ALL tryouts will be held at Arlington Courts.

• Each athlete needs to be accompanied by a parent/guardian to fill out the necessary paper work (see handouts below for registration papers; print, complete and bring with you to tryouts.  This will make the process much quicker and easier for you and your parent). 
• Parents, please plan on staying throughout tryouts for an informational parent meeting.
• Please come 30 minutes early for registration and paper work (see handouts below for registration papers; print, complete and bring with you to tryouts.  This will make the process much quicker and easier for you and your parent).  .
• There is a $35.00 non-refundable tryout fee (one-time fee for all tryouts)

Here are our tryout dates:

      12's/13's       Saturday   Nov. 7    11:00 - 1:00

                         Monday    Nov. 9     6:30 - 8:30

16's/17's/18's       Saturday   Nov. 14   11:00-1:00

                         Monday     Nov. 16    6:30 - 8:30

IMPORTANT:  Prior to tryouts, future and past players must register with the North Texas Volleyball Region to participate in any tryouts.  Registration is now open and ready to go. The NTR's website for registration is http://www.ntrvolleyball.org/registration.htm.  Please make sure to register prior to tryouts. 

**We must have a copy of your registration form as well as the one-time fee for tryout of $35.

Frequently Asked Questions 

1) What will be the location, time and date for the weekly practices? We practice at a facility called Arlington Courts (Mayfield and 360 on edge of Arlington); We practice one day a week, Sundays for 2 hrs. Estimated practice times are 2-4 or 4-6.

5) If my daughter is a returning player do we still purchase all new equipment? No. You may purchase equipment on a need bases.

6) So, if we are a returning players what is our acceptance fee?  For returning players, your acceptance fee is $150.00 due at 2^nd tryout. With that being said, if you are a returning player who does not need new equipment (-$100) your December payment will be $50.00.
