Mission Statement

The mission of the Cy Fair Shock Elite Team is to provide young ladies an opportunity to learn and enjoy the game of basketball at a highly competitive level.  Our mission is to give each young lady the opportunity to build self-confidence, develop an understanding of teamwork, demonstrate good sportsmanship and leadership both on and off the court acquire a sense of responsibility through hard work, commit themselves to excel academically, and mature socially and spiritually.

 Who We Are

 The Cy Fair Shock Elite Girls Basketball Team is a select group of highly motivated and energetic girls who have been given the opportunity to play competitive basketball throughout the United States.  We are a part of the Cy Fair Athletics AAU Competitive Girls Basketball Club, who is a proud member of the Gulf Association and the Amateur Athletic Union.  Our players represent a variety of middle and high schools throughout the Fort Bend, Houston, Katy and other areas in the gulf region. 

We support the growth and well being of the entire athlete by recognizing the life skills and qualities, in our mission statement, are important ingredients for a successful life.  We expect a high code of ethical conduct by all its coaches, players, volunteers and parents so that it provides a good example for the community, opponents and participants.

Our Goals

• Offer a program that focuses on basketball skill development, team play, and basketball education.
• Provide both training and playing experience throughout the season.
•  Provide your child an opportunity to compete at some of the highest level in girl’s basketball,against some of the strongest competition by participating in regional and nationally recognized basketball tournaments and camp.
•  Provide access to high quality consultation, instruction, and coaching to enhance your child’s fundamental skills and knowledge of basketball.
• Identify forums in which your child’s athletic abilities can be displayed in order for them to compete for basketball athletic scholarships.
•  Promote sportsmanship and cooperative spirit among all the participants.  
• Promote academic excellence at all times.
• Promote spiritual and social growth through prayer and life lessons.
• Be a financially sound in running our non-profit organization.
