FIRST CLASS IN NEW JERSEY
Sky Blue Soccer is a newly formed organization with high aspirations. At Sky Blue Soccer, our goal is to establish our organization as a leader for high-level soccer in the United States. Sky Blue is an integrated program that allows players to progress in soccer from a young age with an opportunity for long-term growth.
In Year One, Sky Blue Soccer will operate a franchise in the W-League in Northern New Jersey. Currently the highest level women's soccer league in the United States, the W-League is part of the United Soccer Leagues (USL) and 2007 will be the W-League’s 13th season of operation. With a highly capable operations team and an experienced coaching staff in place, Sky Blue looks to immediately become a force in the W-League.
Sky Blue has hired Charlie Naimo as the organization's Sporting Director and head coach of the W-League team. Formerly the head coach of the highly successful New Jersey Wildcats, Naimo has established himself among the elite coaching ranks of women's soccer. With the Wildcats, Naimo elevated the team into the upper echelon of women's soccer around the world posting a 41-1 regular season record along with two regular season titles and the W-League Championship in 2005.
Sky Blue Soccer is a not-for-profit organization (501C) and our headquarters are located in Bedminster, NJ.
