Orange Pop Warner Football/Cheer Association CV BEARS: Welcome

Hello Orange County Youth Football and Cheer Fans, Future Players, Future Coaches and Future Administrators. The Central Virginia Pop Warner Football Conference is proud to have Orange County as a part of our Nationally Sanctioned Pop Warner Football Conference Charter.  Orange County officially became a part of our Conference in March of 2007 and we cannot wait to work out the details for the student athletes of Orange County to participate in our Pop Warner Program

It is our goal to enhance youth football in Orange County and work with any exsisting cheer or football programs offered. The CV BEARS...
Your Orange County CV Bears were established to provide you a team that could immediately begin Conference play in whatever divisions declared by the Conference as the Divisions of play for the year. In 2007 the Pop Warner Junior Peewee and Junior Midget Divisions are offered for Conference play. As long as an even number of teams are offered, Conference By-laws, Pop Warner Little Scholar Inc. rules & guidelines are followed,  Orange County could enter a team in Conference play in 2008.

Parents and players love the structure, age, weight, scholastic parameters and other guidelines offered by Pop Warner Little Scholars Inc. www.popwarner.com but often Counties like Orange find it difficult to put together a Pop Warner Program and offer youth football for the majority of it's young people under the strict age and weight limits set by Pop Warner. Being a part of a Conference helps bring the Pop Warner option without taking away from what may be the better overall youth football and cheer program option for your area. We are just waiting for the Parents, Government officials or any party interested in providing a quality youth program for the young people in Orange County to give us chance to discuss the future.  Please contact us -put together a group of people that know the needs of your community and meet with us... The OPWA Orange Pop Warner Football/ Cheer Association may form its own Pop Warner teams and play within the Association (per Pop Warner Guidelines) or offer the CV Bears and additional Conference teams and participate in Conference play. We are anxiously awaiting Orange County to take a look at there very own Orange Pop Warner Football/Cheer Association. Founded by and a part of the Central Virginia Pop Warner Football Conference for the young people in Orange County and Central Virginia.
