Hello Louisa County Youth Football Fans, Future Players, Future PW Coaches and PW Administrators. The Central Virginia Pop Warner Football Conference is proud to have Louisa County as a part of our Nationally Sanctioned Pop Warner Conference Charter.

The CV LIONS...
Your Louisa County CV Lions were established to provide you a team that could immediately begin Conference play in whatever divisions declared by the Conference as the Divisions of play for the year. In 2008 the Pop Warner Junior Peewee and Junior Midget Divisions are offered for Conference play. As long as an even number of teams are offered, Conference By-laws and Pop Warner Little Scholar Inc rules and guidelines are followed Louisa County could enter a team in Conference play in 2008.
It looks like Louisa will not have a team playing on our Conference this year but chances are they will have one Mity Mite, JPW, PW, JM or Midget team in 2009.
Parents and players love the structure, age, weight, scholastic parameters and other guidelines offered by Pop Warner Little Scholars Inc www.popwarner.com but often Counties like Louisa find it to difficult to put together a Pop Warner Program and offer youth football for the majority of it's young people under strict age and weight limits. This Conference helps bring the Pop Warner option without taking away from what may be a better overall youth football and cheer program for your area.
We are just waiting for the Parents, Government officials or any party interested in providing a quality youth program to the young people in Louisa County to give us chnace to discuss this option. Please contact us.
The LPWA Louisa Pop Warner Football/ Cheer Association may form its own Pop Warner teams and play within the Association (per Pop Warner Guidelines) or offer the CV Lions and additional Conference teams and participate in Conference play. We are anxiously awaiting Louisa County to take a look at there very own Louisa Pop Warner Football/Cheer Association. Founded by and a part of the Central Virginia Pop Warner Football Conference for the young people in Louisa County and Central Virginia.

In 2006 Our Greene County team was one game away from going to the National Championships at the Disney Sports Complex in Orlando, Florida. Maybe 2007 will be our big year. Help make Louisa a part of our future.
