Thanks for visiting our site. We know there is a lot of information here but there is a lot of information involved. Our teams from the Albemarle Area Pop Warner Association (AAPWA) are determined by where you live and Middle school Boundaries in Albemarle Co., Greene Co., and the City of Charlottesvile. We are planning on 8 JPW teams and 6 JM teams in 2010.

ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
You are a voting member of Central Virginia Pop Warner from the day you paid for a participant to play in 2009 until your membership expires after the January Annual Membership Meeting. Nominations for our Directors need to come from our membership. Each coach on the certified rosters in 2009 is entitled to a vote at the annual meeting. mail in your Nomination adrresed to David Dickerson Central Virginia Po Warner PO Box 8251 Charlottesville, VA.22906. Please send in your nomination form -You can nominate yourself, before the December Board of Directors meeting.
On January 28th 2010 Central Virginia Pop Warner Football Conference Inc. will hold its annual membership meeting at the Albemarle County Office Building on McIntire Road in the Auditorium, from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM. A slate of nominations will be voted on by our members to elect a 2010 Board of Directors. Nomination forms can be downloaded from our forms page on this web site. Each nominee will have the floor to express his / her vision of the future and direction of CV Pop Warner and how it can be achieved.
Nominations Recomendations and Applications for Head Coaching positions for 2010. The outgoing Board of Directors will make a recomindation to the new Board of Directors regarding the status of Head Coaches that want to return and we hope the new BOD will have all Head Coaching positions filled on or before Febuary 4th 2010.
We look forward to welcoming the future MPWA Madison County Pop Warner Asociation, FPWA Fluvanna Pop Warner Association, OPWA Orange County Pop Warner Association, LPWA Louisa Pop Warner Association, NPWA Nelson Pop Warner Association, BPWA Buckingham Pop Warner Association & APWA Amherst Pop Warner Association into our Conference. We are all set with Pop Warner for these Associations we just need leadership from each county to get these programs underway.

As Director of the Central Virginia Pop Warner Football Conference I can see no reason why madison County and Fluvanna Counties would not want to offer the Parents and Student Athletes in those counties the option to play in the Pop Warner JPW program in 2010. David Dickerson the 2009 President of Central Virginia Pop Warners Albemarle Area Pop warner Association with 12 teams agres it would be great to have those two associations playing in our Conference in 2010. We need to start with a Head Coach willing to build a coaching staff and we will plan for registration in those areas in March of 2010!

Many thanks to the local Public and Private School Athletic Directors, School Administrators and Parks and Recreation Administrators for their help in scheduling our 44 games and more than 600 practices for our 12 teams from August 1, 2009 through the end of November!
