Many thanks to the local Public and Private School Athletic Directors, School Administrators and Parks and Recreation Administrators for their help in scheduling our 44 games and more than 600 practices for our 12 teams from August 1, 2009 through the end of November!

Thanks for visiting our site. We know there is a lot of information here but there is a lot of information involved. Certification of each player, equipment, Pop Warner guidelines, Parental behavior, background checks, terms of field use and a number of other items all have to be covered. Our teams are determined by where you live in Albemarle Co., Greene Co., or the City of Charlottesville. Players... Make sure you have items 1-7 (listed below) or you will not be allowed to practice until you do. Forms 1-4 can be downloaded from our Forms & Registration page. If you would like to serve as a volunteer/coach you must complete the 2009 Pop Warner Little Scholars Inc. Volunteer Application before you can work with the teams. Take your forms to your Head Coach or your Team Parent and when your background check is done your volunteer efforts will be used in some way.

Van Project...
Thanks to all of the people involved in our van rsesoration project. In 2007 we purchased a used van to use during distribution and pick up of equipment. "Pete" has taken on the project and has secured a number of sponsors that will hopefully have our van turned into a mobil billboard for CV Pop Warner. We look forward to the finished product. Thanks to the contributions IT IS IMPORTANT that checks are clearly marked van project or just van in the for or memo line on the check. Those funds will be used specifically for the van. Make checks payable to CV Pop Warner and make sure your company name is on something with your check. Open Registration dates in March and our web address will be very visable o nthe van. An action photo of our players will cover the side of the van- Photo to be seleced by the Board of Directors. About Pop Warner:
Founded in 1929 and headquartered in Langhorne, Pa. Pop Warner Little Scholars is the largest national youth football and cheerleading organization in the United States and the only youth sports organization that emphasizes academics as an equivalent to athletics. Currently there are over 400,000 children in Pop Warner organizations in 43 states, Scotland, Germany, Russia, Japan and Mexico. The NFLPA estimates that 70% of all current NFL Players got their starts in Pop Warner programs.
