Please make a note of the new change that we will start in OPEN GYMS, starting next week (July 3rd) - Open gyms will now run from 5-8 p.m. with a new breakdown in the times....
5-6:30 is for all new players, whether you are a freshman or a new senior...it is designated for anyone that has not played before.
6:30 - 8 p.m. is for all returning players and any players that have played JO's.
For those of you that cannot make the meeting tonight, here is the Penn State Team Camp information that you will need:
Time of Departure: 10:30 a.m. from the DSF building (behind the stadium) Be at the school no later than 10 a.m. to pack the vans.
What to Pack:
FAN! - dorms are unairconditioned and a fan is much needed!
Blanket/pillow - a bed sheet is provided by the school
Towels/toiletries
Lots of t-shirts, shorts, socks, sports bras - We have 3 sessions a day in unairconditioned gyms
Snacks/water/gatorade - Each dorm room has a small fridge and microwave. Breakfast, lunch and dinner is provided each day, but in case of late night cravings, etc...bring whatever you want. Each session provides large coolers of Gatorade for free, so you can bring a water bottle to fill if you like.
Bathing suit optional - the PSU pool is available for $2 a day on your breaks if you would like
SNEAKERS and KNEEPADS and ACTIVE ANKLES
Money- the only money you will need will be for fast food lunch on the way up to PSU, trips to Creamery at night and any t-shirts you may want to purchase

Please click on the 2008 Summer Schedule Handout to view the summer open gym/conditioning schedule as well as the schedule for try-outs in August. Please plan your vacation accordingly so that you will be in attendance for try-outs.
For those of you that were not in attendance at either of the middle school or high school meetings, we have added summer running/weights to the schedule. We will be meeting in Chapman Stadium every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-9 a.m. This is not mandatory but strongly encouraged to stay in shape and prepare for the season.
We may try some open gyms in May right after school...so listen for annoucements if I am able to set them up.
