Local Music Talent, Ryan Gallagher, to sing National Anthem
|
Ryan is a local resident of Grand Rapids where he attended Forest Hills Central High School and is currently attending Calvin College. Ryan is an up and coming musical talent that has the ability to make it big with the growing support he has behind him between family and friends.
Ryan's list of accomplishments continue to grow as he has already been apart of some big events. In 2005 Ryan sang back-up for World Renowned Singer & Performer, Josh Groban at the VanAndel Arena here in Grand Rapids, MI. 2006 brought another great oppertunity for Ryan as he attended auditions for American Idol in Memphis, TN. It was at this Audition where Ryan recieve the coveted "Golden Ticket" to advance to the next round. Most recently Ryan made it to the "Sweet 16" of Country Music Television's, Music City Madness compitition on CMT.com. This fan based voting compitition (Like American Idol), started with 64 musicians nation wide and will end with on musician remaining. Ryan had a strong showing in this compitition as his website (www.RyanGallagher.net) received an amazing 18,000 hits on February, 13th of this year. The website hit count grew by over 50,000 fans over the next five days.
Having Ryan here to sing the National Anthem will allow fans to get their first glimpse of the future of Country Music and a possible Music Star. Ryan will also be on hand to sell CD's and sing original songs at half-time of the Coaches game.
