Sunday, March 9 Where's Our Team?...Team Web Sites are Available If you can't link to your team's website under the "Teams" button on the left that means we're waiting for a parent to volunteer to maintain your team's website. Maintaining a team website does not require any web programming skills, just basic use of a computer and bit of patience. Below are instructions if you're interested. Check with your team's coach if you'd like to be the web-master for your team. Each team may create a free “team” website under eteamz and it will be associated with the CVCR League site. Follow these instructions to create a eteamz team website under the League site: 1. Designate a coach or parent to maintain your team website. 2. Have them Email cvcalripken@yahoo.com with their Town, Division and Team name. 3. The League web admin will create your team page for you and email you with your access info and you will have access to make changes. After the CVCR web admin has created your team page, you are responsible for its content. Eteamz team sites are easy to maintain using their online web tool. When you log in with your eteamz member ID, take a moment to review the website tutorials. Please abide by the following when maintaining your team site: 1. The team websites have limited storage (2.5MB total). Therefore, you may need to manage available free space. Additional storage is not available for team websites. 2. An email from a legal guardian is required to post any team or player pictures. Send your team an email and keep a list of replies stating that photos of players are permitted to be posted. 3. Post only first names with last initials if using player’s names. 4. Do not post scores for any teams in the T-Ball and Rookie divisions. General news postings such as, “The Peterborough Diamondbacks and the Temple Dodgers both scored several runs last night in a tight game”, are permitted. 5. Player stats are not permitted for any division. 6. Keep it clean. If you have any issues with coaches, umpires or the league in general, please email the league to resolve any issues. |
