How do I pay for camp?NO PERSONAL CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. We will only accept cash, cashiers checks, money orders (make payable to KC Camps, Inc.), and credit cards for online registration. Payment will be due upon submission of registration. Back to Top What is the camp refund policy?Refund fee is half of the camp price camper is registered in. Back to Top What forms are required in order for my child to participate in camp? All campers must fill out an application form and a medical release form/parental authorization form. Back to Top Can campers make roommate requests? Yes, upon registration both campers must request one another or the request will not be filled. Team camp room assignments will come from the coach of their team. Back to Top Is medical staff provided?Certified trainers will be at each camp during their daily and nightly activities and stay in camp lodging with campers. Back to Top Can teams attend camp?Yes, teams can attend camp on June 12 - 14, 2009. Team campers are welcome to attend any other camps as an individual camper. Back to Top What items do campers need to bring to camp?Bedding for twin bed, blanket, pillow, alarm clock, shower items and toiletries. work out clothes and basketball shoes (gym shioes only). Light jacket or sweatshirt, pj's, and shoes for shower and shoes other than gym shoes, camera and swimsuit. LEAVE VALUABLES AT HOME! KCCAMPS, INC. OR TEXAS TECH IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ITEMS. CAMPER CELL PHONES MUST REMAIN IN CAMPER'S ROOM DURING CAMP SESSIONS. Back to Top What meals are provided for campers?Meals are provided for all camp sesion. Meals NOT provided at Day Camp and Team Camp. Back to Top WILL THERE BE CONCESSIONS FOR CAMPERS?Yes, campers will be able to purchase snacks from concessions provided at the arena and in the dorm. DAY CAMPS WILL BE GIVEN OPTION TO SET UP BANK ACCOUNT FOR CONCESSIONS. Back to Top Can campers purchase memorabilia at camp?Yes, there will be a camp store where Lady Raider and KC Camps memorabilia and gear will be sold. This store will be cash only. Back to Top Is transportation provided from Lubbock International Airport and/or bus station to/from camp?Yes, transportation from Lubbock International Airport or local bus station will be provided to campers who have made arrangements with us at least 14 days in advance. Arrival times should be between 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. the day of camp registration. Departure times will need to be made between 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. on the last day of camp. EARLY ARRIVALS WILL NOT BE ACCOMMADATED. Back to Top Where do I park if I drive to camp or if I commute to camp every day?If you are attending overnight camp or commuting to camp you will need to purchase a parking permit from Texas Tech University Traffic and Parking. These will be available for purchase during check in. If you are attending overnight camp and drive you will be asked to check your keys in and your keys will be returned to you at the end of camp.
