The following CGSL volunteer positions are open for the upcoming season. If you can help fill these 
positions, please contact any of the board of directors listed in the "Board" section 
of this website.

Uniform Manager
Responsible for:
·	Generate budget input 
·	Manage league uniforms (pants)
·	Purchase player uniforms (hats, shirts, and socks)
·	Distribute uniforms to Uniform Coordinators
·	Collect league uniforms at end of season

Snack Shack Manager
Responsible for:
·	Generate budget input 
·	Coordinate:
·	Food selection
·	Food purchase
·	Snack Shack team schedule
·	Opening/Closing Snack Shack
·	Manage Cash Box

Picture Day Manager
Responsible for:
·	Generate budget input 
·	Select and coordinate supplier
·	Schedule teams
·	Distribute packets to Picture Day Coordinators
·	Distribute completed pictures to Picture Day Coordinators
 
Elections Manager 
Responsible for:
·	Board election
·	Identifying candidates
·	Generating ballots
·	Conducting election
·	Counting ballots
·	Sealing ballots
·	Deliver sealed ballots and results to Secretary

Managers
Must be female and over 18 years of age.
Responsible for:
·	Team managed per league guidelines
·	Schedule first team meeting
·	Team name
·	Contact list to parents
·	Practice/Game Schedule
·	Communicate emergency contact or notification procedures
·	Team VolunteersPoint of contact for parent/player issues
·	Player Safety
·	Player Development
·	Game rotation
·	Skill development
·	Practices run smoothly
·	Notify / remind parents of schedule
·	2 Adult Females always present (Manager and/or Chaperone)
·	First Aid & Ice available
·	Help coaches as needed to keep all girls busy
·	Maintain discipline as needed
·	Games run smoothly
·	Notify / remind parents of schedule
·	Work with Coaches on game plan (player rotations, batting order)
·	Arrange scorekeeper for home games
·	'Manage' dugout with Chaperone
·	First aid & Ice available
·	Communicate positions & batting order
·	Help Catcher gear up/down
·	Keep batters in order & on-deck
·	Help coaches as needed
·	Maintain discipline as needed
·	Good sportsmanship (positive cheers from girls)
·	Girls cleanup dugouts properly 

Coaches
Responsible for:
·	Player Safety
·	Player Development
·	Assessment
·	Positive coaching
·	Encouragement
·	Practice
·	Plan
·	Execute
·	Monitor for effectiveness
·	Pep-Talk/Review at end
·	Assist Manager with game plan (position rotation, batting order)
·	Warm-Ups
·	Coach 1st or 3rd
·	Coach players on field
·	Pitch (as required)
·	Pep-Talk/Review at end

Chaperones
Must be female and over 18 years of age.
Responsible for:
·	Player Well-Being
·	Attend all practices and games
·	Assist Manager as needed
·	Inform Manager of any concerns

Training Director
Must have daughter or granddaughter registered in the league.
Responsible for:
·	Player skill development
·	Clinics
·	Performs other duties as directed by President.

Division Director
Must have daughter or granddaughter registered in the league.
Responsible for:
·	Managers and Coaches within Division
·	Teams operating per league guidelines:
·	Player well-being
·	Fun
·	Skill development
·	Performs other duties as directed by President.
·	Performs other duties as directed by parent softball organization.
