Cumberland Youth Baseball/Softball League

Dear Community Leader,

On behalf of the Cumberland Youth Baseball / Softball league we are asking for your support as we embark on our 61^th season of baseball and softball in town. As you may know, our 12 year old all-stars went all the way to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, PA. Their incredible journey would not have been possible without the help of our sponsors. The 2013 season brings sustained growth to our league, with over 80 teams playing ball and over 1000 youths from ages 6 to 15 participating in team play this spring and summer. Our volunteer organization has been working hard during the off-season to ensure the best season ever. We will be teaching the skills of the game and more importantly life skills such as: sportsmanship, respect, fair play, loyalty, teamwork and self-esteem.

We need your help in providing the financial support through team sponsorship that allows local youths to have safe equipment, adequate fields, and proper uniforms. Attached you will find our 2013 Sponsor Registration Form that can allow you to help us in this challenge. We are offering sponsorship opportunities that include corporate signage at one of our fields, team sponsorship, or both. All donations are appreciated. If you have a child, relative or friend that is participating in one of our programs and would like to sponsor his or her particular team, we will make every effort to honor that request.

Please help us out by completing the Sponsor Registration Form and respond as soon as possible. Teams begin practice in March and we hope to have every team sponsored. Team sponsorships will be awarded on a first come first serve basis. I hope you will join other business and civic leaders in the area, to help make Cumberland's Youth Baseball / Softball season the best ever.
