LCP offers CHALLENGER DIVISION Football and Cheer
The mission of the Challenger League is to bring the Pop Warner Little Scholars experience to boys and girls with special needs that would not otherwise be given that chance. Challenger Flag Football is non-competitive and no score is kept. Each participant is required to provide a Buddy at least 14 years old to assist the player on the field. Participation in the Challenger League is only at the request of the individuals parent or guardian. There are no practices for football and all games will be held on Saturday mornings in the LCP area. Every child will get the thrill of scoring a touchdown every game! The Challenger Cheer program is to provide boys and girls with special needs an opportunity to learn cheer skills in a safe and fun environment. Cheer squads will practice in August to prepare for the upcoming season and will participate in the other cheer exhibitions.
Please check with your local Association to see if they offer CHALLENGER DIVISION and if not, then contact the LCP Association to register for 2007.
