Mike Okeefe's Baseball Softball Academy - Hamden, CT
A new baseball and softball training center open at 109 Sanford Street in Hamden, CT. Most indoor batting facilities don't have the right distance between the batter and the machine, and they throw rubber balls. We use state-of-the-art computerized machines that have the ability to throw fastballs, curveballs, and sliders. We program it, and the machines throws exactly what you specify.

Directions to Panthorn Park:
From Hartford: Take I-84 West through Southington; Take Meriden-Waterbury Road Exit (Route 322);At end of ramp, turn right. Go to next light and turn left onto Ruggles Road. Go to the stop sign, turn left onto Burritt Street. Go over the I-84 overpass, continue downhill about ¼ mile and entrance to Panthorn Park will be on your right-hand side. As you enter the park, our Maintenance Building will be directly in front of you. Continue into the Park and you'll see the picnic area, pond, tennis courts and softball field. Handicap-accessible Playscape will be on your right. If you continue up the road, the Southington Girl's Softball fields along with the Lacrosse Fields are at the top.

From I-91: Take Exit 15, follow Route 68 West toward Wallingford. (traveling south right, traveling North - left) Follow Route 68 all the way across town, over Route 15. Look for Mobil gas station on the left where Route 150 crosses. Turn right onto Hanover (across from Library). Turn right at the first street onto Oak. Prageman Park will be on the right. Turn into parking lot before the soccer field
From Route 15 (Merritt Prkwy)
Driving North : Take Exit 65. At end of exit, turn left, then left again at the light to stay on Route 150. Follow Route 150 through several lights (over a mile) until you reach a large intersetion with a Mobil gas station on the right. This is Route 68. Turn left at the light. Turn right at the first street onto Hanover. Turn right at the first street onto Oak. Prageman will be on the right. Turn into parking lot before the soccer field.
Driving South: Take Exit 65. At end of exit, turn right onto Route 150. Follow as above.
From Cheshire and points West: Follow Route 68 East to Wallingford. After passing the reservoir and driving through light at Highland Avenue, 68 slopes downhill. Turn left onto Hanover Street (across from Library). Follow Hanover a short distance and turn right onto Oak. Prageman Park will be on the right. Note if you get to a large intersection with Route 150 (Mobil gas station on right) you've gone too far on 68.

From Hartford Area: 1. Take 184 West to Exit 38 Route 6 West).
2. Follow Route 6 West
3. After crossing the four way intersection with Route 177 (Tunxis CTC is on your left), stay on Route 6 West for 1.7 miles until Stafford Avenue.
4. Take right at light onto Stafford Avenue. Follow it for 0.5 mile.
5. St Paul's will be on your left. Parking is available in the front or back of the school.
From Waterbury Area: 1. Take 184 East to Exit 31. Turn left onto Route 229.
2. Follow Route 229 North until Route 6.
3. Turn right onto Route 6 West Follow for 1.0 mile until Stafford Avenue. Burger King and Citgo Gas will be on your left.
4. Take left at light onto Stafford Avenue. Follow for 0.5 mile.
5. St. Paul's will be on your left. Parking is available in the front or back of the school.
From New Britain Area: 1. Take Route 72 West through New Britain following signs to Bristol
2. Take North Washington Street Exit
3. At the end of ramp take right onto Route 177 North. Go straight until Route 6. Tunxis CTC is on your right
4. Take left onto Route 6 West Follow for 1.7 miles until Stafford Avenue.
5. Take right at light onto Stafford Avenue. Follow it for 0.5 mile.
