Dolcom Little League Tee Ball to Play on The White House South Lawn
Once again, Little League Tee Ball players will be romping on the grounds of the White House, as President Bush invites teams to Washington, D.C., for a friendly game of baseball.

The first game this year will feature a team from McGuire Air Force Base (N.J.) Little League, and a team from Dolcom Little League, Naval Submarine Base New London, of Groton, Conn. The game is this Friday afternoon, June 23. Each player on both teams has at least one parent on active duty in the Air Force or Navy, with some of the parents deployed outside the U.S.

Little League International is grateful to these sponsors for helping to defray the costs associated with the Tee Ball on the South Lawn program: Ace Hardware, AIG Insurance, Musco Sports Lighting, and New Era. Details on the sponsors’ generosity can be found here: http://www.littleleague.org/media/teeballsponsor2006.asp

For this game, Little League sponsor SUBWAY Restaurants has stepped up to the plate, funding the Navy team’s transportation needs for the three-day trip. Details on SUBWAY’s generosity can be found here: http://www.littleleague.org/media/teeballsubway2006.asp
