Season Summary by the numbers:

* 10-U, 26-11 in outdoor tournament play, 34-12 including The Dome & Scrimmages, 3 Championships, 1 Runners-up
* 12-U Teal, 13-32 for the tournament season but 5-3 in their last two local tournaments, definite improvement and skills development through the season.
* 12-U Black, 44-19-2 in outdoor tournament play, 4 Championships, 1 Runners-up
* 14-U Teal, 38-24-3 in outdoor tournament play, 48-30-4 including The Dome & Scrimmages, 2 Championships, 1 Runners-up (110-47-4 since Jan 2013)
* 14-U Black, 29-21-1 in outdoor tournament play, 1 Championship
* 16-U Black, 28-17-2 in outdoor tournament play, 1 Championship, 2 Runners-up, Sweet 16 at PONY Nationals
* 16-U White, 21-18-1 in outdoor tournament play, 1 Championship, 1 Runners-up
* 18-U White, 25-12 in outdoor tournament play, 2 Championships
8 Teams, 7 winning records, 7 teams won at least one tournament. In outdoor tournament play an organizational record of 224-154-9, 14 Championships and 6 Runners-up plus a Sweet 16 at PONY Nationals. A good year by most measures.

August 1-3

12-U Black, played up at the 14-U level at the CT Bombers Last Blast in Norwich/Franklin CT 2-2-1 for the weekend, Fifth Place
14-U Teal, CT Bombers Last Blast in Norwich/Franklin CT, 5-2 on the weekend, Champions
14-U Black, played up at the 16-U level at the CT Bombers Last Blast in Norwich/Franklin CT, 3-2 for the weekend Third Place
16-U Black, CT Bombers Last Blast in Norwich/Franklin CT, 4-2 for the weekend, Second Place

July 23-27
12-U Black, (42-17-1) Shoreline Stinger Branford/Guilford CT, 5-1 on the weekend Champions
16-U Black, (24-15-2) PONY Nationals Sterling VA, 3-5-1 for the event 9th Place (Sweet 16)
16-U White, (18-15-1) Due to a minority number of families backing out of their commitment, the remaining eight players/families were denied the opportunity to participate in the PONY Nationals in Sterling VA.
18-U White, (22-10) Mirage Dudley College Showcase, E Hartford CT, 4-0 on the weekend. The E Hartford event CANCELED ALL GAMES ON SUNDAY based on the weather forecast.

July 18-22
 12-U Black (39-16-1) P.O.N.Y. Nationals, Sterling VA, 3-6 for the event, 17th Place
3 of the 6 losses came at the hands of 3 different Elite Eight teams who finished tied for 5th Place.
14-U Teal (32-19-3) P.O.N.Y. Nationals, Sterling VA, 4-3-1 for the event, 17th Place
Losses came at the hands of The National Runner-Up, the Third Place team, and a 9th place team who we had also tied in Pool Play
18-U White (18-10) Summer Sizzler, Haggerstown MD, 7-2 for the weekend, Champions, Gold Bracket

July 11 - 13
12-U Black (34-10-1), Richard Durning Memorial, Warwick RI. 6-1 on the weekend, Champions
14-U Teal (28-16-2), All American, Lowell MA, 5-2 on the weekend, Fifth Place
16-U Black (18-8-1), Richard Durning Memorial, Warwick RI, 4-1 on the weekend, Third Place
16-U White (16-12-1), Richard Durning Memorial, Warwick RI, 6-0 on the weekend, Champions
18-U White (11-8), Summer Scorcher, Southington CT, 5-1 on the weekend, Champions

July 5 & 6
14-U Teal (23-14-2), PONY New England Regionals, Wallingford CT, 3-3 on the weekend Third Place

June 28 & 29
14-U Teal (20-11-2), Jungle Jamboree, West Hartford CT, 4-1 on the weekend, Second Place
14-U Black (15-7), Jungle Jamboree, West Hartford CT, 5-0 on the weekend, Champions

June 21 & 22
12-U Black (26-7-1), Canobie Lake Classic, NH, 4-2 on the weekend Third Place
14-U Teal (16-10-2), Mount Washington Valley Classic, NH, 6-1 on the weekend Champions
16-U Black (10-2), Polar Crush College Showcase, MA, 6-0 on the weekend, Bracket Champions
16-U White (5-5-2), Polar Crush College Showcase, MA, 6-0 on the weekend, Bracket Runners-up

 June 14 & 15
12-U Black (22-5-1), X-Games (ASA) Stratford CT, 5-1-1 on the weekend, Second Place
14-U Black (6-5), Father's Day Slugfest, Franklin CT, 4-2 on the weekend, Third Place
16-U Black (4-2), Father's Day Slugfest, Norwich CT, 4-2 on the weekend, Second Place

June 7 & 8
12-U Black (17-4), Spring Bash, Watertown CT, 6-0 on the weekend Champions for the second weekend in a row.

May 31- June 1
10-U (34-12), USSSA CT State Championships, East Hartford CT
5-2 on the weekend Second Place as the Champions were from L.I. our 10-U Team was the top CT team. This completes the 10-U season. They went 16-3 over the last three weekends earning two Championships and a Second Place finish.

12-U Black (11-4), Mayfly PONY Nat'l Qualifier, West Greenwich RI
4-2 on the weekend, Champions
 

 May 24-25, 2014
10-U traveled to Plainville MA to play in the Memprial Day Classic, after seeding #2 on Saturday the team came strong on Sunday and captured the Championship going 4-1 for the weekend. The team outscored their opponents by a combined 43-12.

12-U Black went to Cheshire/Wallingford CT to play in the Friends of Softball tournament. The team had another strong Saturday, seeding #2, then finished in Third Place being eliminated by the eventual Runners-up. Finishing 4-1 on the weekend.

14-U Teal also went to the Friends of Softball event. Not farring as well on Saturday the team seeded #6 but came back strong on Sunday knocking off the #3 seed before falling to the eventual Champion in the semi-finals earning a Third Place finish.

May 17-18, 2014
After heavy rains hit Friday night the Rose City Rumble was in jeopardy. Due to a legion of parents and coaches working the fields the weekends 66 games started a mere two hours late and was played to its completion. The 10-U team played well as a team all weekend, put miscues behind them and marched on to a 7-0 record while capturing the Tournament Championship. The girls again set a torrid pace outscoring opponents 83-15 for the weekend.

April 19, 2014

The 10-U team opened its 2014 season going 4-0 to the Championship of this one day, Easter weekend, tournament. The team led by excellent pitching, put on an offensive show outscoring the opposition by a combined 58-2 score. Next weekend in Voorhees NJ will offer a whole new level of play.
