10th Annual NE CT Coaches Clinic "Thompson Little League"

Thompson Little League again for the 10th straight season will be hosting the Coaches Clinic for Coaches throughout District 11. As in the past years this event will start at 9am and end at 1pm. It will be held at the Tourtellotte Memorial High school Gymnasium, Thompson, Ct. The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 14, 2009.

Matt Kruger is a former college player from Western NewEngland and Instructor at Pro Prospects training center in NY. Currently Operations manager and hitting and catching instructor at extra innings in Auburn, Ma.

Jason Akana former professional baseball player and college player.

American Red Cross is a new addition to talk about first aid.

This clinic has become the largest of its kind in New England and is a must of all new and experienced coaches.

Little League Baseball's Eastern Region Headquarters has released its 2008-2009 schedule of clinic dates and sites. The Eastern Region Staff will continue to host the following clinics at the A. Contact a group sales representative, choose a CT Defenders game you would like to attend, maybe look at fire works nights. You must purchase a minimum of 150 tickets. You Receive $4.00 from every $8.00 ticket you sell. That mean you league can make a fast $600.00 dollar profit on 150 tickets.

The New Britain Rock Cats are a minor league baseball team based in New Britain, Connecticut. The team, which plays in the Eastern League, is the Double-A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins major-league club. The Rock Cats play in New Britain Stadium.

This coaching clinic is designed to help Youth League Coaches better understand the following topics: pitching, hitting, infield play, outfield play, catching and baserunning. All Proceeds to benefit the NFA Baseball Program. Our Clinicians consist of coaches from former and current NFA Baseball Coaches as well as Former Players.
