They will be moving on to the Section II Tournament to be held at District 6, Ct. (July 23-30).

7/27- D8-Ellington(5) vs. D11-Brooklyn(3) @ 5:30pm, Field 6

They will be moving on to the State Tournament to be held at District 9 in Ansonia, Ct. (July 15-22). (Double Elimination Tournament).
7/22- D11 Jewett City (6) vs. D3 Seymour (11) @ 5:30pm
7/25- D11 Jewett City (16) vs. D4 East Shore (8) @ 2pm Losers Bracket
7/26- D11 Jewett City (2) vs D5 Berlin (4) @ 4:30pm Losers Bracket
Jewett City is out of the Tournament with a record of 1 win and 2 losses.

7/18- Waterford South (5) VS. J.City (13) @ 3:00pm, East Hartford

7/23- Vernon (3) vs. J.City (7) @ Rocky Hill Field 7:30pm District 11 Jewett City Little League wins the Section II Tournament in Manchester and will play the Section I Champion, Milford on 7/26.

JEWETT CITY 11-12 SOFTBALL WINS BIG IN ROCKY HILL

The Jewett City 11-12 Softball Section II Championship ended with Jewett City on Top, defeating Vernon by a score of 7-3. Jewett City will be moving on in the State Finals to play the Section I winner. We wish them the very best!
Following the game, Jewett City celebrated by laying around the circle as they have ceremoniously done after each game. Suddenly, they yelled out for the Vernon team to join them. The Vernon girls ran out of their dugout and joined them, also laying around the circle. Together, both teams chanted, "We're all for one, and one for all. Together we win, together we fall." It was a true witness of sportsmanship and fellowship. Congratulations to both Teams!!!!
