New Britian Rock Cats
ROCK CATS 09

The New Britian Stadium opened April 12th,1996 with a seating capacity of 6,146. The 2009 season marks the 27th Anniversary of Eastern League Baseball in New Britain. Fundraising with the Rock Cats allows your organization to raise awareness about your cause in a very unique way. We have helped many organizations across Connecticut and Western Massachusetts raise thousands of dollars in past years. Simply secure a minimum of 200 Reserved or GA tickets for any game (except Fridays and Saturdays in May and June) for half price. Sell the tickets at face value and keep the difference for your group.

The New Britain Rock Cats are pleased to announce a partnership with the Jimmy Fund Little League Program for the 2009 season.

Since 1987, the hard work and winning spirit of the coaches, parents and most importantly, the players participating in the Jimmy Fund Little League Program, have raised more than $2 million for Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Jimmy Fund.

This fun, exciting program allows more than 4,000 Little League baseball and softball players from all over New England the hance to play ball after the end of their regular season by participating in a local tournament. Off the field, these young heroes take to their communities to raise vital funds for the Jimmy Fund. As a result, the children are able to have fun while learning the importance of helping others.

Prizes for top fundraising teams may include having your team honored at New Britain Stadium before a Rock Cats game during the 2009 season or the top prize of having your team attend a Boston Red Sox game at Fenway Park!

Please contact Jenna Godin-Conz with the Jimmy Fund at (413)733-1200 or at jennifer_godin-conz@dfci.harvard.edu for more information. Also please visit their website atw ww.jimmyfund.org/littleleague.org for more information. Thanks for your support of such a great cause.

Sincerely,
