Martins love for the game started when his kids were young in T-Ball. He started off as most of us have done coaching, he then moved to manager. In a effort to help improve the league, martin accepted the position V.P. of baseball for 2 years with Jewett City Little League. Martin wanted to dig deeper, so he ran for League President. He maintained that position for 5 years. As President they achieved many new things. He then stepped down as President and became a League V.P. to help the new incoming President- Lori. He joined the District 11 Staff, working with District 11 Administrator Dan Haggerty for 3-4 years. Dan stepped down and stepped up having been Assistant DA. Martin was Elected District Administrator in 2005, a 3 year term. In 2008 Martin was elected District administrator for another 3 years.He enjoy his position working for the Local League.
