EAT BETTER, RUN FASTER!
As we begin racing, a natural question a lot of runners have is "How can I run faster?" Well, other than just simply staying patient, working hard and being consistent, runners can and should watch what they eat during the competitive season. Our bodies will only go as far and as fast as the fuel they burn on will let them ... in other words, you race what you eat! Fill your bellies with junk, you'll probably race and train poorly ... or at least not to the level you could.
Click the link above to view a number of short, informative articles from Runner's World on how you can change, tweak, or alter your diet to improve your performance. Go ahead ... it's ok to be healthy!
